Favorites from 2016!

So many things have changed this year. Moved from Texas to California. Rebranded the photography business to photograph seniors, teens, and tweens exclusively. And my favorite news of all…found out that I am expecting TWINS!

Here are some of my favorites from 2016! Can’t wait to see what 2017 brings.

MWP Style Closet | Quartz Crowns

Senior, teen, tween

Quartz crowns are one of my FAVORITE new trends. I decided that the MWP Style Closet must have a few for clients to borrow for their portraits. So I found the perfect materials and got crafty. I think they are really fun and I can’t wait to use them in more sessions.

If you would like a crown of your own I am also accepting orders. Contact me for more information.

Let them eat cake! Happy Halloween from Rocklin, CA.

It’s that time of the year again. Lots of little ones (and big ones) dressing up and Trick-or-Treating. This year we decided to get a little creative and made a Marie Antoinette wig. We just had to do a mini photo session, with a touch of vintage editing, to show it off.

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Happy Halloween!

Rocklin Senior | Class of 2017

I had SO much fun with Aliena at her shoot. We went to Folsom Lake for her senior pictures. Aliena is one of the sweetest seniors I’ve ever met. She has such a fantastic smile and personality. It was a joy to work with her. Enjoy!

Tween Fashion | Rocklin, CA

It’s so hard to find cute and fashionable clothes for tweens these days. It’s a tough age. You aren’t a kid anymore, but you aren’t a teen quite yet. Finding just the right look to make you feel extra confident can be a challenge. So,  I’ve put together a list of my favorite stores to find clothes for my tween. I’d love to know your favorites!

Joyfolie has some of the most dreamy and unique items I’ve ever found for my kid. The shoes are beyond amazing. The quality is superb too. My daughter absolutely loves this store.

Forever 21 Girls

For cute and trendy clothes check out the Forever 21 girls section. I have found several great pieces throughout the years for my girl. They have the best vintage inspired graphic tees and casual dresses.

For a more European-inspired look, check out Zara. We lived in Europe for seven years and this was a go to store for us. They have great basics and clothes with simple designs. Classic looks to last the whole season.
