It all started with a box of hair dye. My daughter loves to do fun things with her hair and has always been super adventurous so we picked a fun red and that led to the topic of characters with red hair. There are so many! I had no clue.
Two weeks in, her hair started to grow too much and the roots were out of hand. So we ditched the red and decided to try blue. This color was a bit more difficult to come up with a variety of characters, but I think we did alright.
Towards the end, the entire family (minus my husband) ended up getting sick for an entire week, so I pulled a few favorites from themed sessions I had already done with my kiddos.
I hope you enjoy this little challenge as much as we did.
So many things have changed this year. Moved from Texas to California. Rebranded the photography business to photograph seniors, teens, and tweens exclusively. And my favorite news of all…found out that I am expecting TWINS!
Here are some of my favorites from 2016! Can’t wait to see what 2017 brings.
Emily is the cutest senior E V E R. She is so sweet and has such an amazing smile. Here are a few favorites from her senior session.

Quartz crowns are one of my FAVORITE new trends. I decided that the MWP Style Closet must have a few for clients to borrow for their portraits. So I found the perfect materials and got crafty. I think they are really fun and I can’t wait to use them in more sessions.
If you would like a crown of your own I am also accepting orders. Contact me for more information.
It’s that time of the year again. Lots of little ones (and big ones) dressing up and Trick-or-Treating. This year we decided to get a little creative and made a Marie Antoinette wig. We just had to do a mini photo session, with a touch of vintage editing, to show it off.
What are you going to be for Halloween?
I had SO much fun with Aliena at her shoot. We went to Folsom Lake for her senior pictures. Aliena is one of the sweetest seniors I’ve ever met. She has such a fantastic smile and personality. It was a joy to work with her. Enjoy!
